Just picked up a set off Ebay for a decent price, about $3 a car with shipping...not a bad find. Now I just either need to grab a bulk deal on trucks or perhaps a few choice ones. I love the beer trucks, the flatbeds and the gas haulers the most, which seem to be popular. Figure if I can grab some at a good price I will jump on them.

An update from Reaper Kickstarter just hit last night with this image of the green for the Cthulu figure that was the last and final item to drop as a "bonus item" that you could buy for $10. I am VERY happy with this and rest of the goodness that is going to arrive in March. Which is my only complaint, but I know they have a ton of product to crank out and get into production. Personally, I am excited Bones is growing, to me this is the next and true direction that miniatures should go in....decent quality and inexpensive...
Cars, I need some of those, too!

I got this Cthulhu ordered as well, hes massive! Sculpt is not fat enough for my taste, to be honest :D
There is a such thing as too big of a sculpt...I think the body is still a bit raw and will have more work done later...
DeleteAs for the cars, I won my bid for $10.50 for 5 and $17.30 total for shipping. So it works out to $3 and some change for each car. To me that is reasonable.
The big issue is getting a decent price and not get shafted by shipping costs.
I was looking for some cars too. I am trying to put together my "Lawless" game with Back Woods Moon Shiners vs Gangsters, and cars are the last touch I need.
ReplyDeleteLook for some of the flat bed style...like the Coal and Coke one...remove the stuff off the back...better yet, get that beer truck with the kegs on the back. Any of the other trucks would work well as "smugglers" ie like a Coke truck...
